Holy Cross believes that much of the growth in one’s Christian life is experienced through personal and small group Bible Study. These Bible Studies provide the foundations of our everyday living and provide an opportunity for members of the body to strengthen and encourage one another. We invite you to become a part of these ministries, as God has intended for each of us to grow in His ways. Kids 4 Christ: Ages 4 - 11
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:15am ready to delve into God's word with gladness and with joy in our hearts. We seek to glorify God through studying his word, praising him, keeping fellowship with one another, serving our community, outreach and missions. Activities include studying bible verses/stories, singing praise, visiting the nursing home, hosting Vacation Bible School and giving to the Samaritan Purse mission. Each year we recruit volunteers to serve during Summer Sunday School. We also hold seasonal "in house" celebrations (Water Fun Day, Fall Harvest Celebrations, Christmas Pageants, Easter Egg Hunts, etc.).

Adult Bible Study is held every Sunday morning at 9:15 AM and is lead by our associate Pastor. This bible study prepares our adults for Sunday worship with enriched studies and sets a foundation for the adults that form our congregation to be the “lights” of the world.
Mission: To provide a safe and caring environment and to ensure the children are happy during the Sunday school and or church time, and to provide a foundation for their Christian development. The nursery opens at 9:15 AM.

The Holy Cross Choir is always in thanksgiving by praising our Lord with beautiful hymns and songs. Each year they graze our congregation with an Easter cantata, as well as a Christmas Cantata. Choir rehearsal is every Wednesday at 6:45PM.

Holy Cross is blessed with a group of members whom the Lord has gifted with great voices. Each Sunday they provide the music for the Worship service delighting the congregation with both hymns and contemporary pieces. The Praise Team rehearses every Wednesday at 8:00 PM in the church.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 65 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions. Every year, the LWML at Holy Cross hosts a “Love Fest” in the month of February. This event brings all of the women in our congregation together to celebrate the sisterhood in Christ and the love we share for our Lord.

Biblically, men have been called to serve as the spiritual leaders in the church and household. Unfortunately given the recent trends in society and in the family structure, there has been a noticeable disengagement of men both inside and outside of the church. The X-Men ministry serves to reinvigorate and reengage the men of the community to return to their roles of leadership just as God ordained. Through regular Bible Studies, prayer, social events, and mentoring, the X-Men Ministry is committed to developing the next generation equipping them with the Biblical foundation and wisdom necessary to be the spiritual leaders of tomorrow.

The women of Holy Cross come together every Thursday night to enjoy some fellowship time and to focus on a Bible Study titled: “Knowing God’s Heart.” This is a fun time for women to relate to daily walks and to learn from one another what it is to be a woman of faith. We invite all women to be a part of this wonderful Bible Study; Thursday nights @ 6:30 pm. Babysitting is available.
It's been said that "Life begins at Retirement" and this is especially true for the members of Young at Heart community at Holy Cross. This ministry is intended to harness the talent, vigor, wisdom, and life experience that retired members possess for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. Members of Young at Heart meet regularly for fellowship and service opportunities, meant to engage those in the Holy Cross family who are retired.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church has partnered with the Heart to Heart ministry and adopted a local nursing home to do senior outreach. Every first and third Saturday of the month, this group gets together to visit the nursing home and spend time with the residents there.
